About Madis

Madis Kabash graduated from Le Rosey in 2013, after helping to set up the school’s prestigious History and Debate societies and winning the year’s acting award.
She currently lives in London where she founded Carving Consulting, a company that helps businesses with their media strategy and execution. Formerly she worked at Bloomberg News for almost six years, where she ran the global video desk’s Economy and Government coverage. Her video and written work has been nominated for awards and translated across multiple languages. She helped create Bloomberg’s documentary and short-form video formats and hosted several digital-first shows.
She's a frequent moderator and public speaker across the City of London, previously leading the Bloomberg Women's Community where she set the corporate D&I strategy for over 4,000 members across EMEA.
She has a BA in History from Queen Mary University of London and a Master of Science degree from Columbia Journalism School in New York City. Madis is originally from Almaty, Kazakhstan. In her free time she collects and listens to vinyl records, dances Flamenco, paints and sponsors London’s restaurants and bar scene.
