About Annika
Annika Pergament is an Emmy Award-winning news anchor in New York City.
She hosts The Rush Hour, weekdays from 4-7 p.m., where she covers the latest news, interviews newsmakers, and delves into issues that matter to New Yorkers -- real estate, politics, schools, safety, transportation, and arts & culture. A veteran journalist, Annika has covered the biggest stories impacting the city including the terror attacks of Sept. 11, the financial crisis of 2007-2008, and the coronavirus pandemic.

In 2024, Annika was awarded the highest honor bestowed by New York Press Club — The Gold Keyboard Award — for her investigative series probing the Administration for Children's Services which uncovered numerous shortcomings in the city agency tasked with protecting the most vulnerable children.

Annika received her bachelor's degree in History from Duke University, and her master's from the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University.
